This collection agency engaged in the following unfair and abusive collection practices specifically prohibited by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC §1692 [Also insert here the cite of your state's collection law, if known. [Summarize the prohibited practices, the results of said practice (for example, any loss of income, privacy, etc.), and any indications that the violation may have been deliberate. Make special note of any comment by the collector about how long it takes for instructions to be placed in their system.
