Automotive Recovery Services (ARS) notified customers of a breach when an unauthorized party gained access to one of their legacy systems compromising customer information.The information compromised included names, Social Security numbers, street addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, driver's license numbrs, the type of vehicles donated, name of the charity that the vehicle was donated to.The company is providing identity theft protecton for 12 months for free with AllClear ID.
